Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective date: September 21, 2026

Because Magnolia Metro reserves time, plans travel and may incur third-party costs before an assignment is completed, refund eligibility depends on when a cancellation occurs and what work has already been performed.

Document retrieval orders

Standard document-retrieval requests begin with a $25 document-retrieval deposit. The deposit is credited toward the published successful-retrieval price for the selected category. The remaining service fee is due only after the requested document is obtained and verified, before release.

If the document is not obtained within the accepted scope, Magnolia Metro provides a factual retrieval report and does not charge a success fee. The $25 deposit covers the retrieval work and report. Government, court, vendor, copy, certification, postage or similar third-party fees are separate only when disclosed and approved in advance, and are nonrefundable once incurred. An unanswered agency request is not treated as proof that a record does not exist.

Verified instant-copy offers are paid in full before release. If paid delivery fails, we resolve delivery or refund that payment. Work outside the selected standard category requires a new approval before it begins. Refund submissions are tracked separately from bank completion.

1. Before confirmation or payment

A website submission is only a request. You may withdraw it before accepting a written quote or paying without a cancellation charge.

2. Customer cancellations and rescheduling

  • More than 24 hours before the scheduled time: amounts paid may be refunded, less nonrefundable third-party costs and work already completed.
  • Within 24 hours: a cancellation or rescheduling charge may apply for reserved time, preparation and travel commitments.
  • After dispatch, arrival or work begins: completed work, travel, waiting time and incurred costs are nonrefundable.
  • No-show, unavailable recipient, unsafe location, missing documents, unacceptable identification or an unwilling/unaware signer may be treated as a completed attempt and charged accordingly.

3. Service-specific charges

Notary travel or appointment fees may remain due when a notarization cannot proceed for reasons outside our control. Process-service attempt fees are generally nonrefundable once an attempt is made. Courier charges are generally nonrefundable after pickup or dispatch. Records, filing, postage and other third-party fees are nonrefundable once incurred.

4. Magnolia Metro cancellation

If we cancel before performing work, we will refund the amount paid for the unperformed service. We may cancel or stop an assignment because of safety concerns, unlawful instructions, conflicts, inability to verify required information, events beyond reasonable control or other circumstances that prevent lawful performance.

5. Deposits, retainers and custom work

Unless a written quote states otherwise, Magnolia Metro requires a 25% reservation deposit, with a $25 minimum that will not exceed the total quoted price. The deposit is credited toward the total quoted price and is not an additional fee. Any remaining balance is due upon completion of the service. The quote may identify a nonrefundable portion covering preparation, reserved capacity, special handling, purchases or third-party commitments.

6. Requesting a refund

Email info@magnoliametro.com with your name, service date, invoice or request number and the reason for the request. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when practical. Bank and processor timing may vary.

7. Charge disputes

Please contact us promptly so we can review records and attempt to resolve a billing concern. This policy does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law or card-network rules.
